Matej Špacapan – trumpetThe name Etnoploč states the musical choice of a trio across the borders (whose components come from the mixed Italian-Slovenian area: a rootless digression into ethnic music, seamlessly swinging from traditional folk leads from different continents, our own releases and improvisations.
The trio boast numerous and prestigious collaborations with international artists. They have performed in numerous festivals and events in Europe: MantovaJazz(IT), Festival Lent(SLO), Udine Jazz(IT), Szentgotthard jazz festival(H), Rosenthal EtnoFest(AT), Sankt Jakob Folk Musik(AT), Premio Andrea Parodi – Quartu Sant’Elena(IT), MEI-Faenza(IT), Tavagnacco Jazz Festival(IT), Across the Border(Gorizia,IT).
Moreover they have collaborated with Tamara Obrovac, Vlado Kreslin, Daniele D'Agaro, Emil Krištof, Karen Asatrian, Extra 3 and many others.
